Hanuman Puja and Wedding Crashing

The following Sunday, I was invited to a Hanuman Puja, by Srinivas (ADP India's CFO), at his home. I went with Bhanu and the finance gang again.

Srinivas's wife did a beautiful job decorating their home for the Puja. I felt like I was attending a wedding!

My colleague LK, refusing to give me a smile
But I finally got it out of him! Ladies: He is single and ready to mingle!

Live musicians playing during the event

Hanging out with my friends, Bhanu, LK & Karthik. It takes 3 tries to get all three of them to look normal ;)
We tried to keep things interesting

Proof that I was there as well
They had two flat screens setup for the guests sitting outside

My first time seeing an Almond Tree across the street from Srinivas's houses

We left the wedding puja a little early to crash a wedding on the other side of town
We hit this road block along the way, nothing new for the folks here
A closer look of our road block. Great angle choice & photo credit to Karthik ;)

We made a quick stop along the way at Paradise for a quick snack. I forgot to take my camera out for pictures there. We had some samosas, puffs and kulfi (Indian ice cream).
Afterwards we went to one of our colleagues (Vikram) brother's wedding receptions. The bride and groom are on the stage.
Place settings being setup for the bride and groom to have their meal with their family members

In India, it is the custom that the bride and groom plus their families don't eat until all their guest have eaten.

Leaving the venue

Full tummies = happy people! It was nice meeting Bushan (the guy in the center of the backseat), he was with ADP before I joined the company.
This was a first even for me, on the way home we saw a guy riding around town on a camel

We had a fun day together!
